World Cup 2014

Hello! How are you guys doing? I hope y'all had a great Monday.

We are going back to our routines that don't include the World Cup from now on (at least until Russia 2018). It is amazing to see how the soccer fever is, at least for some countries. I noticed that for the US, soccer isn't really a big deal compared to Basketball, Football or even Baseball; however, in Latin America it's a HUGE deal! There's nothing like soccer for our countries and the passion is indescribable.

So yesterday, Argentina played vs. Germany, my friends and I got together (of course) to go watch the game at a Sports Bar/Restaurant and it was just so nice to see people wearing their favorite team's shirt because they sure wear it proud. I believe it is healthy to share these type of experiences with family and friends because it creates a bond, plus you get to share some time together which is always great.

On the other hand, what I don't like, it's when people start attacking one another, insulting and even getting physical to defend their teams. People can get too intense when it comes to sports so come on people, enjoy your favorite sport in a HEALTHY way, no need to get all nasty.

Hope y'all enjoyed the World Cup and created nice memories with family and friends!!

Till next time, over and out!

PS: If you missed the World Cup's opening and closing ceremony with Pitbull, JLo, Claudia Leitte and Shakira's performances, you can watch it HERE and HERE
